Derek's Day Out

These are a few photos taken in August 2006. The series had been planned but back then but nothing had yet been committed to film. I had returned to Lichfield for the weekend, as had Dave Cox and Harriet (school chums of mine). We decided to get my Dalek out (whom my family have called Derek ever since we won him in a competition in 1996), and we took him up and down my street. The excuse was that we were practicing for the filming – in reality we just wanted to play with the Dalek!
